PRESENTATION OF THE ASSOCIATION

INITIATION TO ARTISTIC PRODUCTION .
PRESENTATION.

Founded in 1996, DA.MAS is a band from Roubaix in which met singers, dancers and graffiti enthusiasts Hip Hop movement.
Henceforth, the group is organized and involves dice 2000 in community life and cultural Roubaisienne by participating in several festive events in partnership with the socio-cultural structures, including social centers.

Thus, the group participated in events such as: Nos Quartiers d’Eté, year-end schools, charitable (Restos du cœur) etc..
The group's purpose is to show our artistic talent and become a professional medium term due to the movement HIP HOP, but also to be involved in the life of the city to better live together as citizens of Roubaix.
HIP HOP movement is a means of expression both by movements of dances, songs. It allows you to create debates, meetings that may affect any age group.
The RAP is part of HIP HOP, we take this musical style because its role is to get positive messages around either, to tell how French society evolves, and how the countries of other continents live. The RAP is open to any type of debate. HIP HOP DANCE, just like the PCRs were imported from the United states, these styles took root in 1975 in neighborhoods New - Yorkers from the Bronx, Queens or Brooklyn. The creators of these styles have passed from year to year, and that's what DA.MAS intends to turn.
The association Da.Mas is fifteen artists organized volunteers. Thus, the association give courses in creative writing text, dee - jaying and dance, with schools (College van DENMERSCH in Roubaix), structures of the city (l’Espace Pôle Ressource Jeunesse DESCHEPPER in Roubaix, the Pôle Ressource Jeunesse LAENNEC). The association DA.MAS anime since September 9, 2005 a Radio FM 99.4 on Pastel, entitled "RDH": The Hip Hop Radio.

Finally, following the release of the CD SO SO CAPS in 2010, the association DA-MAS offers Kizomba dance classes with the association EXPRESSÃO SENSUAL, and of course dancehall and Kuduro arrived for 2012 with the school N'Didance.
