The kizomba is a musical genre from Angola, which became popular in France and Europe. It is a derivative of semba, itself derived from the term Zemba (dance), an ancestor of the samba (Brazil), but the genus zouk. In Portugal, the word "kizomba" is used for any type of music derived from zouk, even if not of Angolan origin. Moreover, the term "kizomba" includes a dance Angolan Kizomba music performed on. The genre itself Kizomba comes into sub-categories (in the strict sense Kizomba, Semba, Cabo love, tarrachinha, Ghetto Zouk ...). The dance is divided roughly along the same lines as the musical genre. The Kizomba, as music and dance, began to enter Europe (starting with Portugal) in recent years. However, the dance style practiced is sometimes far removed from the Angolan style, including Semba. This is due to the fact that a significant part of European practitioners with a history of Salsa and other Latin dances to the sounds and gestures different. Kizomba dance (in the strict sense) is characterized by languor and sensuality. The trunk, however, remains fixed and flexible, while the lower body is much stronger. In general, the space in which the couple moves is reduced to an absolute minimum and movements, although drawn, are saved. However, the style Semba, corresponding to the music Semba, permits and is characterized by faster travel and more energetic, all in a festive style. Although born in Angola, the Kizomba music genre and dance that accompanies it have developed in all Lusophone African countries (Guinea Bissau, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Sao Tome, Congo Brazzaville, Benguela, etc. .). This has led to the birth of styles very characteristic of certain geographical areas, both in terms of dance music. Be careful though with one important detail: the way a lot of music in the evening "Kizomba" may well be zouks Brazil, the only use of Portuguese was not sufficient to use the term "Kizomba" but only the geographical origin of the song. Kizomba dance is practiced in all countries broadcasting the Kizomba ... at least have hope! We distinguish now three major Kizomba style. Namely Angolan style, style and Cape Verdean Portuguese style. Like the salsa, which has three style: a Cuban style, Colombian style port and style. The Kizomba from Angola shows the posture most faithful to the Semba (Zemba). Small note: the dancer's left hand faithfully kept up. The Cape Verdean, they are trying to differentiate their proud kizomba style to that of Angolans. So much so that they do not assert the Kizomba dance. For them, their dance is called the "Passada" which is danced on the Kizomba so. If you ask a local dancer does he dance kizomba! He will tell you proudly that dance Passada. And indeed, we can call their dance as such, because it is very different from the Kizomba from Angola. The basics are well respected, however, it is danced on a tiny dance space closed we can visualize it as a square. The footwork is ubiquitous and saida (output) are rare. The Passada is a dance style. "Each dancer must have is style" The Portuguese style is the most transmissible of Kizomba. Very simple, the lines are cleaner dance. The proximity of the dancers is significant and is not tango emerged. The Portuguese style is causing this error: "Zouk Kizomba = + Tango". For against us make clear that there is no European style of Kizomba. But only a Portuguese style. If someone talks about the European style of Kizomba, he is mistaken. Little aside in the footsteps dragged, carried, other cascades (or even somersault! Lol). This is not the Kizomba is a fad due to a purely French dancer with outstanding scenic talent. He seized the opportunity by performing on stage to complete her dance with a few stunts. A well mean the difference between entertainment and dancing, or between stage performance and dance steps. It's like salsa dancer on stage doing flips and big differences in the evening ... but make it no less dangerous. In Kizomba, it is first issue of sensuality, gentleness, sharing and fusion. We are very far acrobatics. You must understand the spirit of the dance front ... to understand the technique. |
