AMINE, the voice of diversity
The social center Battery St Elizabeth welcomed Wednesday, November 18, 2015, the star of Raï'n'B Amine, the event is part of the project "My area is mixed." Da-mas association and the Centre Social Pile St Elizabeth with the help of all partners have initiated this event awaited by all residents.
Several events were organized during this afternoon under the sign of friendliness and good mood, the primary objective was to praise the work done by young people in the workshops through a Graff exhibition a slideshow and musical performances offered by the youth.
With the presence of DJ ONE and the much anticipated arrival of the artist Amine welcomed in the audience's applause, committed a pleasant and friendly exchange between the artist and the fans present mainly composed of children full of curiosity and Questions. The artist took the time to answer all questions with simplicity and humor. Here are a few:
« Where do you live ? »
« You want my address? So that's 31 street ... no just kidding I live in Paris
« You have a wife ? »
« I was married before, and I have a child about your age, it has 7 years »
« Are you're rich ? »
« Yes I have a lot of money, why do you want some? (Laugh) ? »
« Why clip the girl is not there? »
« It's a dummy! Not a plastic model (Laughter) »
« Why you're more beautiful than on TV right? ? »
« Hmm so I did not sleep much, it's a long time since I have not taken a vacation ... but you're right I'll take care of me today. ».
Following this moment Amine interpreted his Señorita song a cappella with the help of all the public who knew very well the song.
Without separating his smile Amin wanted to do a photo shoot with all the signings and audience. The audience was very excited about this coming and did not hesitate to express it at the end of the meeting.
No one has forgotten the accordion and violins in the tube opening "Sobri (our destiny)." Neither funky guitars, bass and round the pest chorus of "J'voulais". The soft and sweet voice Amine, his smiling face and his complicity with Leslie then allows it to know the joys of success. Anthracite gray suit, slim look, he sang live in front of millions of viewers in early 2005 at the NRJ Music Awards. All variety shows snapped the duo that fuses Eastern music and R'n'B ultra efficient. On the album "Raï'n'B fever," Amine collaborates with many artists, including the biggest names in rap and Kery James La Fouine in mind, but also as Rai Cheb Khaled.
Ten years later, almost to the day, the Kore producer plays a big role in its revival, putting his hand to the dough for the production of the disc. Like his brother Nasser shoulder in the composition of melodies. For Amine has not done things by half. In 2009, after 2 solo albums well received by its audience, it becomes dad and provides a parenthesis to devote himself fully to his son. Direction Morocco, his native country. "I needed to empty my head, I happened to spend an entire year without listening to music. I need to be honest with myself and I waited for the music calling me. "
There, he returned to his first love: drawing, design, fashion design. "This is my first artistic passion. Teenager, I did not go out much, I remained locked up at home with my leaves and my pencils. I try to combine the two today. "
Now young father, the singer approaches life with more serenity, he takes the time to savor the good things, relax with loved ones. Until one day the signs of life lead him to take pen. "I met a rather elderly person in a remote village who asked me what I was getting when I had put music aside. And I'm someone who does not believe in chance. "
He wrote a first title, "We'll see," quite explicit summary of his career, his mindset and his rebirth. "I went through a rather complicated period personally, my songs are like subliminal messages, I say almost everything without necessarily going into details. "
Spontaneously, he decides to call his new album "Casablanca" as a nod to his own starting point. "By dint of living, I write my life full of erasures, I will wait for my hour," is he exclaims on the funky "Dare". On the opening track, "We'll see," tube power, it definitely turns the page. "I served my sentence, nothing to lose, one day you will understand. I'm the same, I have no regrets, it is assumed to the end ", he starts dancing to a tune irresistibly.
The first single from the album, "Senorita", a hymn to the woman and hymn to life, shows perfectly the mood of the disc, he wanted warm, sunny and wildly generous. Some guitar chords, a haunting melody, a refrain that we imagine already sung loudly on all the beaches this summer, an unstoppable tube was born. "I do not make the sharp music, it has to remain accessible to all. I feel that the more people hear because it is moments of life that I share. I think we all saw the same things at different times, so that you can communicate. Music also is for. "
And tubes, the album has in spades. There is the hovering "This time," tearing "My choice," which evokes the perpetual torments of love torment. There is some evidence against which it is useless to struggle. "As usual," conceived, written and sung in one evening, one of them. Upon first listen, the powerful flow of Amine a hit and illuminated melody recall that his influences go beyond Rai who has made him known. In his iPod include Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and all the glories of Motown. With this new album the borders of pop and French chanson, which he signed for the first time all texts, Amine comes through the front door. And if it was his "destiny"?
